Our Qualified Online Quran Tutors
Every class at Ayah is taught by a graduate of a recognised Islamic institute, matched one-to-one with a single student. You choose whether that tutor is male or female, and you meet them in a free trial class before you enrol.
Ayah E-learning Institute's Quran tutors are graduates of recognised Islamic institutes including Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi, Jamia Uloom-ul-Islamia Banuri Town and Jamia Anwarul Uloom, with 3 to 6 years of teaching experience each. They teach in Arabic, English and Urdu. Families can request a male or a female tutor at no extra cost, and meet them in a free trial class first.
Who Will Teach You
Each tutor is matched to a student for all of their classes, so progress is tracked by someone who knows exactly where that student is up to.
How We Pair Students and Tutors
What the Titles Mean
Families outside Pakistan and India often ask what our tutors' titles actually signify, so it's worth explaining plainly.
A Mufti has completed the full Dars-e-Nizami scholarly programme followed by specialist training in Islamic jurisprudence, qualifying them to issue religious rulings. An Alima is a female scholar who has completed the equivalent scholarly programme. A Qaria is a woman formally trained and certified in Quranic recitation and Tajweed. A Hafiz or Hafiza has memorised the entire Quran.
Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi and Jamia Anwarul Uloom are established Islamic seminaries in Pakistan. When we say a tutor is a graduate of one of them, we mean they completed the full programme there — not a short course.

About Our Tutors

Our tutors are graduates of recognised Islamic institutes — Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi and Jamia Anwarul Uloom among them — and hold titles such as Mufti, Alima and Qaria. Each tutor's qualification, specialism and teaching experience is listed on this page.
Yes. Each student is matched with one tutor who teaches all of their classes, so the tutor knows exactly where the student is up to and what they struggled with last time. Continuity is a large part of why one-to-one works.
Between them our tutors teach in Arabic, English and Urdu. Students in the UK, Europe and North America are usually taught in English; we match the tutor to the language the student is most comfortable learning in.
Yes. If the pairing isn't working — for the student's level, personality or schedule — contact us and we will move the student to a different tutor. Nobody learns well with a teacher they are not comfortable with.
